Easy Caramilk blender mousse
55g (¼ cup) caster sugar
1 tbsp water
2 eggs
300g Caramilk chocolate, broken into pieces
300ml thickened cream, whipped to firm peaks
Double cream, to serve
Extra Caramilk chocolate, shaved into curls, to serve
100g milk chocolate, shaved into curls
Step 1
Place sugar and water in a saucepan.
Bring to the boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has melted.
Remove from the heat. Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 2
Place the Caramilk and eggs in a blender
and blend until combined. Remove the pouring cap from the blender lid and pour
in the hot syrup. Blending for 2-3 minutes or until mixture is cool.
Step 3
Fold one-third of the thickened cream through the
Caramilk mixture. Fold in remaining thickened cream until smooth.
Step 4
Transfer mixture to serving glasses and place in the fridge
to chill for 2-3 hours or until set. Serve mousse with a dollop of double
cream and top with Caramilk curls and milk chocolate curls.
