Sichuan-Style Stir Fried Tofu

INGREDIENTS

Tofu 500 g

Peanut oil 1 tbsp

Soy sauce 2 tbsp

Salt 1 pinch

Chili pepper 1/2 tsp

Vegetable stock 200 ml

Garlic 2 tbsp, cloves finely chopped

Cornflour 2 tsp

Pepper 1 tsp Sichuan, ground

Preparation

Stir Fried Tofu Recipe: How to Make it at Home

To prepare the stir fried tofu recipe start cutting the tofu into 4 cm cubes.

Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, add the soy sauce and salt and cook for 1 minute, then add the chilli powder and cook for another 30 seconds.

Stir in the stock, add the tofu and simmer for 3 minutes.

Mix the cornflour with 1 tablespoon water and add the garlic.

Add to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Serve the stir fried tofu with a little sauce and sprinkle with Sichuan pepper.
